1. Our stains are used as treatment for natural wood. Its special composition lets wood breath, thus preserving its natural beauty over time.
2. On new wood: Sand using 150 grit sandpaper, then apply 1 or 2 coats on the sanded wood. It can be over-coated with our coating HP 3040. This same method applies for an oiled floor, however the coating should not be applied and instead please use our flooring oil KK 3331.
3. On previously coated wood: Remove all dust and clean surface, sand if required, and apply 1 of 2 coats of stain.For flooring surfaces treated with topcoat remove the old coating completely and processed as with new wood.
